Flexible Heating Mat (KRLA)

Silicone Heating Mat for temperature maintenance or heating of tanks or tank containers, installed under insulation. The Teflon insulated heating wire is sandwich between two layers of waterproof silicone embedded fiberglass and the adhesive will only become active when the heater is energized for the first time, allowing you to easily reposition the mat during installation

Technical Specifications

– Maximum size per mat 0,9 x 3m – Weight 2kg/m² – Optional integral thermostat (10A/250V Max) or temperature sensor – (PT100 or type J thermocouple) – Fitted with silicone insulated connection cable (length to suit requirements) – Manufactured to suit specific applications. Multiple heat zones can supply, there is no shape limitation and holes can supply to suit. – Nominal Voltage 12 to 600V – Maximum maintenance temperature up to 180°C – Maximum contact temperature up to 250°C (switched OFF)

Silicone Heating Mat

Advantages

– Equal dissipation of heat thanks to large contact surface – No local overheating – The heating system is position on the lower half of the tank container – Best position to heat content – Less risk of damage in case of accident – Can also use with half-full containers – Mat is double insulated, so no need for grounding – The heating system supplies up to 1,5 kW/m² – This is more compact than SFM single core heating cable (max 800W/m²) – The heating system is water- and shockproof – A weakness for SMH mineral insulated cable – The heating mats are self-adhesive – Easy and quick installation – Silicone has a good chemical resistance – Can also withstand salty environments (like sea water)
